Corpus Christi , Texas has long been known as a windsurfing destination and lately a kiteboarding destination as well. Corpus, as called by the locals is statistically, one of the windiest locations in the states if not the windiest. This, in combination with warm air temp, water temp, shallow water and numerous riding spots makes it one of the best places in the states for a kiteboarding vacation.  

Corpus has so much to offer in terms of a family vacations that not only is it a great kiteboarding location but also a great family vacation spot. So if you happen to be kiteboarding, your non kiteboarding family/friends will still have so many Activities to indulge in.  

My condo rental is located on the island, North Padre Island . It is a 1 minute walk to the Gulf beach (JP Lubby surf park) for wave action and a 3 minute drive to Packery Channel for some ultra butter flat sessions.
